This association type is used to define the default cardinality to be assigned to new fields of a particular type. It defines the default cardinalities of name fields, association fields, and so on.

Used in one of the two following ways:

default-cardinality(xxx : field-type, yyy: cardinality)
default-cardinality(xxx : field, yyy: cardinality)

Note: Most likely the first version above will disappear in future versions, leaving the association type regularized to just having a single form. The Field type topic is considered a mistake.
